Annual Fund

Participating in the Annual Fund is one of the best ways that alumni can give back to their alma mater. Gifts from alumni provide important financial support and voice the confidence our alumni community has in the continued value of a CCDS education.

Annual Fund gifts are unrestricted and support the school's operating budget, providing additional resouces for ongoing professional development, the latest technology, and requested tools for classroom instruction. These resources, combined with the wonderful talents of our faculty and the unique abilities of our students, create the exceptional educational environment so valued by our entire Country Day community.

As tuition only covers 85 percent of the cost of educating a child at Country Day, Annual Fund support is instrumental in closing the gap. Each Annual Fund year runs from July 1 to June 30.

Young Alumni Selwyn Society

The Young Alumni Selwyn Society (YASS) is comprised of young alumni who make leadership gifts to the Annual Fund. Alumni in the classes of 1998 to 2003 who make a gift to the 2007-08 Annual Fund of $250 or more, and those in the classes of 1993 and 1997 who make a gift of $500 or more, are eligible for this giving club. 2007-08 members will be invited to the Selwyn Society reception to be held at the Duke Mansion and hosted by Head of School Margaret Gragg on October 7, 2008.

The Selwyn Society is comprised of a generous group of donors who annually contribute $1,250 or more to the Annual Fund.
