Sister School and Travel Programs

International Sister Schools


Charlotte Country Day School has established strong relationships with schools in seven countries on four continents. We've chosen schools with similar academic goals and a desire for students to understand the global community. Through these special sister school relationships we are able to confidently send our students abroad. Since 1992, 1,000 CCDS students have traveled on sister school exchanges.

These two-and three-week exchanges are chaperoned by CCDS teachers. The trips include homestays, sightseeing, and some classes. During the school year, CCDS welcome sister school friends to Charlotte.
